Premium, Non-Toxic Clays Chosen for Quality, Durability, and Creativity
We use high-quality materials from Fimo and Cernit to ensure our products are both beautiful and durable. Fimo’s Neonand Gem Effect clays, produced by the well-known company Staedtler, offer excellent strength for everyday wear and are made with non-toxic ingredients. To create the best combination of textures and colors, we also incorporate Cernitclay into our designs. Cernit offers a wide range of non-toxic, high-quality clays that allow us to explore more creative possibilities and produce truly unique, handcrafted items.
Earring Hooks and Jump Rings
At MoodyLab, we prioritize both aesthetics and wearer safety. That’s why we use nickel-free, silver-plated earring hooks and jump rings in all our jewelry designs. These components are made from a high-quality base metal and coated with a layer of silver plating that provides a smooth, elegant finish while minimizing the risk of skin irritation — even for those with sensitive ears.
Nickel is one of the most common causes of allergic reactions in fashion jewelry, which is why we’ve completely eliminated it from our findings. By choosing nickel-free options, our earrings are more comfortable for daily wear and suitable for a wider range of customers.
Our silver-plated findings also maintain their shine well with proper care and add a bright, clean look that complements the unique polymer clay designs of our pieces. The jump rings are carefully selected for durability and secure connection, ensuring your handmade earrings are both stylish and long-lasting.

Our Creation Process
Handcrafted from the first touch to the final polish.
At MoodyLab, every earring is made entirely by hand — no mass production, no shortcuts. We begin by selecting high-quality polymer clays from Fimo and Cernit, known for their rich colors and strength. The first step is conditioning the clay, which means we knead it thoroughly by hand until it’s soft, smooth, and free of air bubbles. This makes it easier to work with and ensures a durable final product.
Next, we mix custom colors and blend different clay types and effects (such as neon or gem-like finishes) to create the exact look we want. This stage often includes layering, marbling, or combining pigments to reflect our inspiration — like the flowing shapes and light of the aurora.
Once the clay is ready, we begin hand-shaping each earring piece using tools, cutters, or custom templates. We refine each shape carefully, ensuring symmetry and balance while keeping the organic, nature-inspired feel of the design.
After shaping, the clay is baked in a precision-controlled oven at the recommended temperature and time. This hardens the clay while preserving its color and finish. Once cooled, each piece is gently sanded, buffed, and sometimes glazed to give it a smooth, polished surface.
Finally, we assemble the earrings using nickel-free, silver-plated hooks and jump rings. Each pair is matched with an originality card and prepared for packaging — ready to be worn or sold with pride.
